24 Hours in Seattle, Washington (Fall 2022)

After battling some awful post-viral vestibular complications for a few seemingly never-ending months this summer, I was thrilled to be able to spend time in one of my favorite cities, Seattle. This time, we went for the Mariners and explored while we were out and about. This is 24 Hours in Seattle, Washington!

24 Hours in Seattle, Washington

Seattle Mariners Wild Card Baseball Game Watch Party

While we were able to spend time at an actual Mariners baseball game back in August, for this October trip, we decided it would be fun to witness history and we bought super cheap watch party tickets to spend a day in T-Mobile Park eating their famous garlic fries, cheering our team on with fellow fans. We ended up winning in a nail biter game against the Toronto Blue Jays, landing us a spot in the ALDS for the first time in over 20 years. It was epic to say the least!

Dinner @ Cinque Terre Ristorante

For this getaway, we stayed at Hotel Max, one of the Provenance Collection hotels (our all-time fave brand!), which just so happened to be up the street from this lovely restaurant, Cinque Terre. It was a couple block walk and we were able to enjoy our dinner on the patio. Jared and I shared the Formaggi, he ordered the Cotoletta di pollo alla parmigiana, and I went with the Fettuccine ai gamberi e limone. We’re absolutely obsessed and will be returning on a future trip!

Hot Cakes Dessert Delivery

We had only ever tried Hot Cakes once prior to this trip as a late night treat after a show we attended, and we knew we’d have to order it for delivery to our hotel room as a dessert snack after our long day! We both opted for the molten s’mores and did not regret it. Hot Cakes always has something unique!

Breakfast @ Mr. West Cafe Bar

Located inside U-Village (there’s also a location downtown if you’d prefer), Mr. West is just the cutest cafe & bar with the most to-die for menu around (and nicest staff). Order one of their specialty toasts and you won’t be disappointed. I’m also a big fan of their spice roasted potatoes served with tzatziki. Beautiful!

Shopping in University Village

I’m OBSESSED with U-Village. Ever since my friend Britt brought me here a few years back, I’ve been hooked. It has all the shopping you’d ever need, and the cutest local restaurants and bars. It’s truly like a little village and has everything you’d need to stay quite a while. They have all the high-end chains like Williams Sonoma and Lululemon, plus quainter shops, their Apple Store is architecturally impressive, and they have at least a couple Starbucks to keep you fueled.

Din Tai Fung To-Go

I’m a huge Din Tai Fung girly - they make the most delish, easy to grab-and-go foods. If I’m not dining at their Pacific Place location, I’m ordering it for pickup or hotel room delivery. Din Tai Fung is a must for us on any Seattle trip, but they have locations across the nation, so be sure to try when you can! I’m a big fan of the vegan spicy noodles and the vegan buns, and always grab a chocolate dessert bun for something sweet.

Quick Stop at Lowrider Cookie Company

One of my favorite local businesses to support in Seattle is Lowrider Cookie Co. What was once at farmers markets and pop-ups has now grown into two retail locations filled with goodness. These thick cookies are just the perfect balance of crunch and moistness. The s’mores and the gingerbread really hit this time!

I’m already looking forward to my next 24 hours in Seattle and hope this gave you some inspo for your next weekend trip!
