Kathryn met Nadine years ago at the networking group she co-founded with friend Olivia and had developed a friendship from afar with Nadine, commenting on each other’s Instagram posts, later hosting a social media class for Nadine’s virtual community of fellow seamstresses. There was no question in Kathryn’s mind that she would be hiring Nadine when the big day came! She got on her books early and waited (im)patiently for the first alterations appointment. Nadine works in a 3-appointment structure - the 1st appointment is for you to get acquainted and try on each dress, making notes on what all needs to be done, providing a contract and firm quote, the 2nd appointment is before she cuts any major pieces or hems but has completed some boning and details, and the 3rd appointment ties up any loose ends post-hemming and you pick up same-day!
