How to Have the Most Fall Day Ever!
If you know anything about me, you’ll know that I’m simply obsessed with fall. 🍂🎃 The beautiful leaves changing color, the delicious foods, the cozy, cute outfits, and the emphasis on quality time with the ones you love the most. So, it’s only natural that I embraced the season with one of my best friends (we swear, our friendship truly thrives the most around the holiday season!). Today I’m sharing all the things we got up to in hopes that it gives you ideas for how to have the most fall day ever!
How to Have the Most Fall Day Ever!
Crumbl Cookies
During this time of year, Crumbl Cookies always has *the best* flavors inspired by the fall holidays and vibes. I always grab a box to share with friends or family if the flavors hit right that week. If you don’t know: Crumbl is a national cookie chain specializing in unique, huge cookies, with an ever-changing, rotating menu every week. Stay tuned to their website or social for the latest flavor drop every Sunday evening!
A Chilly Walk
Take a lovely walk around the neighborhood or hit a trail. I absolutely love a windy, rainy fall walk, hearing the crunch of the leaves under my feet. It’s quite the vibe. Plus, I’m always down for some effortless exercise, especially with all the treats we’re having! We took a stroll through my neighborhood and vented about our latest life stressors and adulting responsibilities. Bestie chats are the best.
Caramel Apple Making
Once we returned from our walk, it was time to embrace one of the most quintessential fall activities: caramel apple making! I bought caramel bits and we melted them down, twirling our apples into the hot caramel, and topping them with mini M&Ms and crushed peanuts. You can really pick any topping you can imagine, but I honestly don’t ever recall making caramel apples before and wanted to stick to the popular, tried & true faves to get the full experience!
Butter Board Creation
For our “main dish” of sorts, I wanted to show Mandy how I have been mastering the art of the butter board lately. If you haven’t heard, butter boards are all the rage and make a fantastic communal dish for get-togethers. I shared my favorite fall butter board recipe here, in case you want to give it a try! :)
I also added another charcuterie platter with a chunk of warmed Brie drizzled with honey and an autumnal spiced butter that Mandy brought over.
Cozy Movies & Candles
Of course, you can’t forget the cozy vibes! I lit my New Savant candles (both “Harvest Table” and “Witching Hour”), grabbed cozy blankets, and we picked a couple movies to watch. Here’s some of our autumn movie recs: Hocus Pocus 1 & 2, Practical Magic, Halloweentown, You’ve Got Mail, When Harry Met Sally.
Will you be crafting an autumnal, festive day of your own? What is your favorite fall activity? Drop it in the comments! :)
