What You Need in Your Bridal Emergency Kit

During my wedding preparations, I’ve been crossing things off my list as much as possible early on so I have less to worry about come fall! One of these tasks has been to curate and pack up my Bridal Emergency Kit. If you don’t know what that is, a Bridal Emergency Kit is a kit filled with helpful goodies and supplies for the bride and her friends or bridesmaids, etc. It’s filled with stain removers, blister patches, medicine, and so on. There’s a few key categories you’ll want to keep in mind, and I’ve written up my full shopping list below so you can stock your own easily!

The Ultimate Bridal Emergency Kit

Categories for Your Bridal Emergency Kit:

MEDICINE

First and foremost, you want to make sure you’re well stocked for any medical emergency that may happen. This means packing a little First Aid Kit and a variety of over the counter remedies for headaches, upset tummies, the list goes on.

TOOLS

If you need it in a pinch, things such as a pair of scissors, a sewing kit, and tweezers will really come in handy in this kit.

HAIR

We need to make sure your hair stays in perfect place throughout the night, so accounting for an extra hair brush, some combs, and spray is wise.

FACE

Your makeup artist will most likely provide you with a “touch up kit” so I wouldn’t waste much money on makeup products, but oil blotting sheets and a good emergency concealer stick will help you (and your bridal crew) out in worst case scenarios throughout the weekend/week.

BODY

These items are incredibly smart: Breast and dress tape, wrinkle release spray, Tide To-Go pens, and so much more. They must not be forgotten!

EXTRAS

You may also consider packing some granola bars or snacks to ensure no one goes hungry, personal hygiene products just in case it’s that time of the month for anyone in the group, and some favorite mints and gum for fresh breath.
