Alaska Thunderfuck 5000’s national tour for her latest album “Red 4 Filth” is what brought us to the city and it was phenomenal! I have appreciation for an iconic music venue and this one is a hot spot on Capitol Hill. Be sure to checkout their upcoming calendar when planning your next visit - there’s a little something for everyone.

Wood Fired Bagels from Eltana

OBSESSED with this new find for us! Eltana is a fabulous local spot that features handrolled and uniquely made bagels and bagel sandwiches. Pro Tip: If you’re a spicy lover, you HAVE to try their spicy garlic cream cheese… but be warned, it’s got a kick! This spot is great for grab-and-go or in-house dining - it’s a perfect cafe vibe for working and getting things done for a few hours.

A Visit to the Woodland Park Zoo

I’m a fan of Seattle’s Woodland Park Zoo and have fond memories of it growing up. This visit, we stopped by for their annual WildLanterns lighted lantern display filled with tons of intricate outdoor exhibits both entertaining and educating guests on animal life. Of course, there was also the gift shop and plentiful (optional) yummy treats.

Korean Rice Hot Dogs @ ChungChun

We had to pay a visit to our fave rice dog spot, ChungChun before we hit the road back to home! I swear you can’t go wrong with anything at this spot - it’s one of our faves and we like to try new combos each visit. If you only want one, you can’t go wrong with the classic mozzarella and don’t forget to top on the sauce(s)!
