Last week, I tried a bunch of new yummy summer recipes, opened a birthday gift, enjoyed a lunch date, organized the kitchen, prepared for the craziest heat wave in quite some time in the Seattle area, had a car scare, ran errands, enjoyed Pride Weekend 2K21 with some amazing gals and Seattle Virtual Pride + Black Queer Town Hall, and tried to stay cool.

Last week, I tried fun meals at home + ate a little takeout, enjoyed an impromptu two-night girls’ sleepover, chatted with Trixie, did an Ancestry deep-dive, planned more details for the Utah trip, had a few client meetings and my very first in-person therapy session since COVID, did a final hurrah for Pride with bi flag-inspired nails, stocked up on more healthy groceries, finally tried our local malasadas (dessert), gave a life update, celebrated dad with some Father’s Day grilling, and taste tested delicious Brazilian treats from a good friend.
