Fresh and Friendly Wedding Florals in Portland, Oregon | Getting Hitched

Wedding florals have got to be one of Kathryn’s favorite parts of all the planning we’ve been doing and we cannot wait to showcase who we picked! In collaboration with our event designer Cassy, we researched local florists from her preferred list and after seeking quotes from three different options, happily landed on Twin Vines Floral Design. Owner Jayme Coffman (yep, same last name as Kathryn!) wowed us with her initial proposal, friendly and timely communication, and affordable pricing. Here’s how we picked our wedding florals in Portland, Oregon!

Once our designer had contacted Jayme requesting a proposal based on our ideas, Jayme sent over her worked up document for us to review an initial investment figure and some inspiration photo examples inspired by our Pinterest board, then we hopped on a 3-way Zoom meeting to further refine, and finalized the details over the next week or so. We had all of our florals picked out and firmed up by April (our wedding is in October) and the process was seriously easy peasy! I shot over a couple questions here and there, but other than that we were golden. Jayme understood our vision and was eager to make it a reality.

We really admired Jayme’s kind and approachable personality, the timeliness in her communication, and her PNW-inspired approach that goes into all of the work for her clients. She worked with us + our designer to brainstorm a beautiful sweetheart table installation (in addition to our suspended floral arbor in the ceremony space), dining table scapes, welcome sign arrangement, dessert table blooms, a lush bridal flower crown and bridal bouquet, flower girl petals, and boutonnieres.

Here’s a few of the questions we asked Jayme in the beginning:

  • Do you have any ideas for how we can make our sweetheart table stand out in an affordable way?

  • Can we put a greater emphasis on the greenery for our larger elements, and use blooms more sparingly?

  • Do you come back later to breakdown? If so, how much would that cost?

We were so pleased with what Jayme came up with and are so excited to be sharing it with you! Be sure you’re watching on TikTok & Instagram to catch the unveiling of our complete wedding design.
