Our Experience as Seattle Mariners Season Ticket Members

In 2023, we decided to pull the trigger and invest in a season ticket membership with the MLB’s Seattle Mariners. We’ve each been M’s fans since pretty much before we could walk and have always bonded over this love throughout our relationship. We thought this would be the perfect 10 year anniversary present to each other and it did not disappoint! If you’re considering snagging season tickets, here’s a few of the exciting perks you can expect.

Seattle Mariners Season Ticket Members Experience

Seating Flexibility

When buying a batch of season tickets, you may think you’ll be stuck in the same seats every game, but this would be false. We started in the 200 level but enjoyed the game from just about every great seat in the house throughout the season! It was fun getting new perspectives and changing things up every few games. If you end up not being able to make a date that was included in your package, too, you can always swap it out for another one or get credit for a future game.

Batting Practice (+ Signatures!)

Something you shouldn’t miss as a season ticket member is the ability to attend batting practice. This is one of the few chances you’ll have to meet players and receive signatures. The staff was incredibly helpful and informative while we were waiting to head on field and even gave me a pen to use for my ball’s signatures (Pro Tip: they suggest blue ink if possible)!

FIreworks Night on The Field

Ever wonder how those folks get onto the field during Fireworks Nights? You guessed it: They’re season ticket members! It’s kind of surreal to see where the players come out and trace their very steps. As mega fans, this was such a special moment that we certainly won’t forget. It was so much fun to come together with other dedicated fans and soak up the night.

Special Entrance

If you’re a season ticket member, you’re able to use a special entrance at right field, and on weekends you can enter this area 1.5 hours earlier than the rest of the fans - a pretty sick perk if you just want to walk around and explore a bit, take a photo with the Dave Niehaus statue, etc. Don’t forget to look for your name on the wall of season ticket members (now THAT was wild)!

Obviously, I understand that this experience is quite the investment and it may not be in the cards if you’re trying to be more frugal (we certainly are in 2024!), but if you ever get the chance to become a season ticket member (even on a flex membership!), do it! We cannot not say enough good things about it and look forward to the day we can swing this again. We’ll forever be #TrueToTheBlue. Sea Us Rise! :)
