4 Plus Size Summer to Fall Transitional Outfits
Here in Olympia, Washington, we still have sun (and lots of wildfire smoke) into the middle of October thanks to global warming! Typically, summer is short-lived from July-September, and all other days are pretty much rainy and grey. With the change this year, I wanted to document how I’ve been adjusting to the new weather conditions and have been styling some plus size summer to fall transitional outfits.

This one is definitely a fave. I explored our Capitol campus and enjoyed a night at the local wine bar in this fit. Crop tops have been my saving grace during this heat and are the perfect layering item. For this outfit, I took a white crop top tank, layered a striped, linen long-sleeve over top, and paired these with black ripped denim shorts. I wore my white fashion sneakers, and of course, my Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag!

For outdoor brunch on a warm day, I picked this super cute halter crop top with collar to add a bit of elevation to the outfit, paired with classic black denim shorts, and a cozy, long cardigan. I threw on my white fashion sneakers and my favorite Steve Madden crossbody bag.

I was off to brunch a second time here, but better yet: a drag brunch in Seattle! I wanted to look cute but still be comfortable. I grabbed this checkered long-sleeve from Nordstrom, threw it over a black bodysuit, and popped on my favorite frayed mom shorts. I paired the outfit with my new fave Open Edit Opal slide sandals.

Finally, for my last transitional outfit, this was my final out & about look prior to the proper start to fall! It was a tiny bit chillier, so I opted for some black tights, this adorable plaid mini skirt, grey crop top tank, burnt orange cardigan, and my trusty Chelsea Boots.
Summer, you challenged me, and I’m so glad you’re over! I look forward to enjoying fall fashion and rainy, gloomy days in the Pacific Northwest once again. :)
Would you wear any of these pieces? I hope this post gives you some OOTD inspo!
