72 Hours in Seabrook, Washington (Winter 2024)
I was so thrilled to return to Seabrook, Washington this winter after spending my Pre-Bachelorette/Birthday Trip there with my girls last spring! This time I got to bring my new hubby and we enjoyed the most lovely, relaxing, romantic getaway. :) This is 72 Hours in Seabrook, Washington!
72 Hours in Seabrook, Washington
RENTAL PROPERTY: Easy Breezy Cottage
We were over the moon grateful to be hosted by the incredible Easy Breezy Cottage - a spacious, two-floor rental property a short 3 minute drive from the main downtown. The house had all the amenities you could dream of: three bedrooms (including bunk beds!), a grill, tons of board games, large kitchen, and the most famous feature: a 7 person hot tub! I’m happy to report that the owners are LGBTQ+-friendly (we had some great chats about Drag Race!) and the home is also pet-friendly!
A Bite + Drinks @ THE STOWAWAY WINE BAR
Just like my last trip, I made our first stop upon arrival The Stowaway Wine Bar! The vibes are immaculate here and we got to chatting with one of the owners who was so friendly and welcoming. We split the grilled cheese and tomato soup, as well as the burrata pesto board. They’ve got the best wine selection in town so don’t forget to stop by here at the start of your trip!
A Windy Day @ MOCROCKS BEACH
Before dinner at Koko’s, we made our way down to Mocrocks Beach (it’s a must-do while you’re in town). Although it was pretty chilly and windy, it was still a lovely time and it was fun getting to people watch as they went clamming! The beach was virtually deserted last May, but since March is smack dab in the middle of razor clam season, it was poppin’!
DINNER @ KOKO’S RESTAURANT & TEQUILA BAR
Koko’s is an absolute fave of mine - you simply can’t beat this delicious Mexican spot! Their guacamole + chips is next level and their customer service is even better (not sure how that’s possible). Do yourself a favor and order the poblano cashew enchiladas - hubby said it’s some of the best Mexican food he’s ever had!
Lots of Cooking IN THE RENTAL!
Throughout our stay, we indulged in a lot of fun recipes, staying in and cooking at Easy Breezy! When we arrived, we stopped by the brand new grocery store that just opened: Fresh Foods Market. This spot has everything you’d need to make a fancy dinner in your rental of choice. Super great option for those of us who are driving a ways in and don’t want to buy perishables / deal with transporting coolers.
CANDLE MAKING WORKSHOP @ LORRAINE’S CANDLE STUDIO
A must-do when you visit Seabrook is a candle making workshop at Lorraine’s Candle Studio. Every employee I’ve met has been so darling and helpful. They explain the process and guide you through every step of the way! You start by picking your candle’s scent and vessel, giving it a name and making it your own. Then, you pour your oil(s) of choice into the prepared hot wax, stir, and pour the finished mixture into your vessel! Then simply stop by to pick up your candle 2 hours later. Lorraine’s makes it easy for you to take a piece of the beach home with you. We made what we called “Cookie in the Forest” (imagine you’re a Girl Scout on a hike with her troop, sharing a lemonade or two!) - limoncello, lemon poundcake, and white birch.
Grab & Go BREAKFAST @ VISTA BAKESHOP
The Vista Bakeshop is my absolute favorite spot to grab the best coffee and yummy breakfast for the road! This time I tried their homemade dulce de leche syrup and it did not disappoint! We both got sandwiches and I can’t say enough great things about their smoked salmon. This is a great spot to hit up on your way out of town.
Hope this little recap gave you some ideas for your next visit to this darling beachfront town! :) Have a Seabrook rec you think I need to try when I’m in town next? Pop it in the comments below!
