48 Hours in Vancouver, B.C. (Winter 2024)

There are weekend trips… and then there are Eras Tour weekends! Vancouver, British Columbia, became the backdrop for one of my favorite concert experiences to date, and we made sure to pack every moment around it with incredible food, festive lights, and a few special keepsakes to remember it by. From friendship bracelets that became permanent to one unforgettable night at BC Place, this was the perfect way to celebrate all things Tay Tay.

If you're planning an Eras-inspired getaway, or simply looking for a cozy winter itinerary, here's how we spent 48 Hours in Vancouver, British Columbia!

48 Hours in Vancouver, B.C.

Brunch @ Earls Yaletown

Our first stop was Earls Yaletown, which had transformed into a magical Winter Wonder Lounge just in time for Eras Tour weekend. They leaned fully into the excitement with Taylor-inspired cocktails and festive decor, making it feel like the entire city was celebrating alongside Swifties. It was the perfect way to kick off the weekend before the main event. :)

Eras Tour @ BC Place

The reason for the trip - and every bit as magical as we'd hoped! Seeing Taylor Swift perform at BC Place was one of those bucket-list experiences I'll never forget. The energy inside the stadium was unlike anything I've experienced, with tens of thousands of people singing every lyric together. Whether you're a lifelong Swiftie or simply appreciate incredible live performances, the Eras Tour truly lived up to every bit of the hype.

Permanent Bracelets @ Leah Alexandra

One of my favorite memories from the weekend was stopping into Leah Alexandra to get permanent bestie bracelets. It felt like such a meaningful souvenir to mark the trip - something we'd continue wearing long after the concert ended. If you're looking for a unique keepsake while visiting Vancouver, I'd highly recommend adding this to your itinerary.

Sweet Treats @ Purebread

No trip is complete without a bakery stop, and Purebread absolutely delivered. I first tried Purebread on my honeymoon a few months earlier and couldn’t wait to come back again! Their pastry case is almost impossible to choose from, with everything looking better than the last. We grabbed a few Taylor-themed treats to enjoy while wandering the city.

Dinner @ Sula Indian Restaurant

Dinner at Sula was INCREDIBLE. The warm, cozy atmosphere paired perfectly with the chilly weather outside, and every dish was packed with incredible flavor. After a busy day exploring Vancouver, it was exactly the comforting meal we needed before another evening of adventures. I will absolutely be bookmarking this place for my next Vancouver visit!

Festival of Lights @ VanDusen Botanical Garden

One of the biggest surprises of the trip was just how magical VanDusen Botanical Garden's Festival of Lights turned out to be. The gardens transform into a glowing winter wonderland, with winding paths lined by thousands of sparkling lights, whimsical displays, and festive music around every corner (you bet there was some T Swift in there!). It felt like stepping into a holiday movie. I'd happily return just to experience it again.

From friendship bracelets and bakery treats to sparkling gardens and one unforgettable concert, Vancouver completely stole my heart. It was the perfect mix of city adventure, holiday magic, and once-in-a-lifetime memories. If you ever find yourself visiting during the winter season, whether for a concert or simply a weekend away, I can't recommend it enough.
